Ok, I must have a wild electrical current running through my body....through the HRM to the Ipod to the Ipod Nike Sensor and to my Omron???????
My "b" is blinking on the Omron. It will not let me upload any stats.....it has a NEW BATTERY!
My sensor is NOT picking up any walks.....NOTHING from the last five days.
Lance talks to me...congratulates me etc etc etc.....
Sifting through the help section/forum on Nike+ is mind numbing.
I have Poker to go to tonight.
Hope they let me keep my phone....lol
Yo' haha

fritz doubt electronics walking crap
Jeeezus!
Ok, the Omron has a new battery.
My Timex triathlons back is off, I'm trying to replace that battery.
My Polar HRM is still working.
The "pod" should be working. It has failed in logging anything for weeks.
I'm electric apparently.
Several electronic pieces of equipment have fritzed out with me using them.
WTF is that about?!
Sizzle sizzle.
Too lazy and don't want to spend $$ on another sensor.
Gettin' on the pony right now.
All new spiffy spreadsheets made too.
Woohoo.
STEEP goals made for the next few weeks.
Let's get this party going.
*Still have not gotten the psych eval...I'm blaming it on money but is there a deep down fear? doubt? I think so.
Following literally hundreds of WLS post ops..I'm just not sure anymore....it's a year later and I'm sitting here not sure....JEEEZUS!

The internet vortex....
Couldn't sign into this account for weeks.
Must have been stuck in some sort of internet vortex from which there is no escape.
Emerging from the vortex I can only tell you that I am still frustrated.
We are awaiting an appointment for a stress thallium.
I had to reschedule two of them due to family illness.
Life! "Life is what happens to you while you are busy making plans..."It sure does stink when that quote rings true.

Walking in Myrtle
What have I done!?
Well, firstly, again I walk SLOWER and for a smaller distance outside than I do on the treadmill.
Maybe it's the singing I am doing while on the tread.
I would be thought a nutcase if I was strolling through the streets of the Farm singing Bon Jovi.
Well, we signed up for the Walk from Obesity event this Saturday at the Market Commons in Myrtle Beach, SC.
I knew about this a few weeks ago but wasn't sure if it was to be held when we would be here.
It is this weekend and we are here so we are walking.
There is NOWHERE on the site about how far it is.
It is lists 3 hours as the elapsed time.
The training tips show a 3 mile training schedule so I am ASSuming it is 3 miles.
No problem!

Walking today waiting for the rain
HOT HOT HOT and sticky.
Been taking my walks outside for what reason I do not know.
Maybe somewhere in my brain I am thinking that if it is sweltering outside I can lose more weight.
I walked for 3 1/2 miles today.
I'll take it. It is a lot better than I was doing last month.
I wonder why, at my advanced age, I lose interest. I THINK I am in for the long haul.
I actually think I am right now. I have days though where I blow off exercise all together.
I feel better afterwards. I enjoy the benefits. I am losing weight, slowly but surely.
Why does my achieving mind allow myself to slip?
Ahh another answer I will never find.
I wanted to run so badly in the Komen Race for the Cure in October.
There is no way I can do it. I know I can walk (or can I) the whole distance but I wanted to be able to run.
The next marathon goal I am thinking about it the Myrtle Beach BiLo Marathon. There is a 5k and a 10k (again, I think). It is in February. I think I can handle that.
It is at least a goal to strive for.
Mr. would come along.
He was a multi marathoner afterall. Boston, NY and a few small town races. He still holds some record at his highschool.
When I met him, he would always tell me he was a "legend".
He's been wanting to get back into running for the last 5 years at least.
He has come to the gym with me and walked with me a few times.
He's too competative. He gets frustrated if he can't go ALL OUT. I wish he would discover running again...for his own sanity.

4 miles...NOT
I am sooo very tired, and HOT. I feel and look like a drowned rat!
September being a new month!! Another new month I was so excited about perhaps getting SOMEWHERE with my Doctor.
I renewed my vows to myself to keep on keepin' on!
I walked, nearly 4 miles today.
I had to stop, after all I was dying, at 3.88.
With the steps from work plus the walk I went over 10,000 steps per my pedometer.
I couldn't take another step. Jon Bon Jovi couldn't help, Billy Joel couldn't help, Garth either. It's sad when Garth can't kick your hiney into gear.
Anyhow, better to have walked some than none at all.....right?
Think I need a new pair of sneaks. The Treadmill is tearing up the tread on my sneakers.
I LOVE the sneaks I have from Nike, they are Nike+ but I don't want to spend that kind of money now. I have the pouch from Marware that I can put the Nike+ Ipod sensor into. I'll go shopping this weekend, perhaps for NB's. They have been my go to sneaks when I can't find Nikes on sale.

Myrtle Beach
Decided to forego returning to the beach for a few weeks.
Myrtle will still be there.
I can make great money up here in NY.
Walking club is taking off. I actually think I LIKE walking again.
I hope to be running soon.
I thought I would be ready for the Komen half marathon in October @ SixFlags Great Adventure in Jackson, NJ. I am in NO WAY ready for that.
My run/walk sprints have slowed significantly.
Trying a new route tomorrow.
I'll map it over at mapmyrun.com.
Grab your new credit cardApply for the Discover® Open Road Card today! link goes direct to application

Finally
Finally got through to the Pulmonologists office, his Bklyn office anyhow.
His other office number would ring off the hook.
SOMETIMES I would get the service but they can only tell me what office hours they have.
Tuesday appt to get final results form the two sleep studies along with an order for CPAP machine I suppose.
I just need the damned letter/evaluation for my insurance.
He suggested PFT's the last visit months ago.
What a sham.
I still think he and the sleep lab owner/Dr. are either related or friends.
Called the surgeons office to make a psych appt. The Psychologist no longer goes to their group to see patients.
ANOTHER roadblock.
Maybe the universe is trying to tell me something?
I am dropping lbs very quickly. So quickly in fact that I ask Marty to test the scale. Nope, it is correct.
WTF? I am eating basically what I always have ( I never ate poorly..just too big of a portion).
I am exercising my ass off though....but nothing too crazy.
The only difference with this attempt and the last five or ten are:
My back, although it hurts, is not a constant 10+. It actually hovers around a 3-4-5 on most days.
My foot (R) and heel pain still flare up but only in the O R.
I am trying to get more sleep.
If anyone has a clue as to why weight is coming off now...I'd be interested.
Oh, the biggest changes are I am utilizing MANY tools in this weight loss attempt.
1} Nike+ Ipod sensor
2} Omron Pedometer
3} Polar F11 HRM
4} Uploading and tracking on all of the above websites
5} Spreadsheets tracking all data
6} Food diaries
7} Frequency
They do get overwhelming when I think about all of them...but when I am hooked up I actually like the data tracking.

Leaving the Turtle tomorrow :(
It's always too short, the time I am here in SC.
Some sun, some pool, some beach, some shopping, some "fun".
Lots of showers and thunder.
Perhaps I will be down again sooner than September.
I plan to recuperate here after my 2 week post op Dr.s visit.
Tuesday it is back to the grind. Work and pre-op business.
I'm only just worried about the Stress Thallium test.
I get sick easily. Heard others got sick during the test.
Wish me luck.
